Online Personal Fitness Training Just A Fad Or Something Great?
A Detailed Look At Online Personal Fitness Training For General Fitness & Sports Training
Online personal fitness training is now offered by most personal trainers and fitness training centers. But is online personal fitness training the "next big thing" in fitness training or is online personal training just a passing fad?
If you would have asked me a few years ago if online personal training would be something good for both personal trainers and clients I probably would have rolled my eyes. After all, the term 'personal training' would imply that a trainer is training a client in person.
But I do give things a chance and since first trying out online personal fitness training 8 years ago I can honestly say that it is here to stay and it's great for all types of personal training.
I've received nothing but positive feedback from all of my online personal fitness training clients. This includes general fitness enthusiasts, elite athletes and everything in between.
"What Are Some Benefits Of Online Fitness Training"
One of the biggest benefits of online fitness training is that you can get the same results as you would working one-on-one with a personal trainer, but at a fraction of the cost.
It is the most convenient form of personal training available.
You'll get the same results as one-on-one personal training without the high cost – it's very affordable.
If you live in a small community and don't have access to a personal trainer or a gym, it won't matter. It also won't matter what part of the world you live in. All you need is access to a computer with the internet.
With online personal fitness training you'll be able to do your fitness program when you want to and where you're able to, depending on your program of course. But at least you won't have to rush off to meet a trainer at a gym if you're running late.
"The Best Online Fitness Training Should Include Much More Than Just Personal Training"
The only downside to online fitness training is that a lot of the personal trainers and fitness centers that offer this option only provide clients with a basic printout of a program to follow.
Something like this is NOT online personal fitness training. Online personal fitness training has to combine many important parts in order to work properly.
Here's what you should look for in a online personal fitness training program:
The online personal training system you choose should include an expert, qualified personal trainer, a nutritionist, medical exercise specialists, post rehab specialists, exercise physiologists, motivators and coaches to help you with every question and issue you have. This is especially true for athletes.
If an online personal training system costs very little, chances are it isn't worth it. On the opposite end it shouldn't cost you nearly as much as traditional personal training. You'll find out about the costs of online personal training further down this page.
If you want to exercise at home and don't have any equipment, that's fine. Good personal trainers will always be able to develop a fitness training program regardless if you have equipment or not.
You should have a password protected area on a website so you can enter all your details from each workout. This would include the weight you’re using, how many reps, sets, etc. you performed.
Unlike one-on-one personal training with online personal training any time you have a question or concern you can contact your personal trainer by email 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Even if you go on holidays you can keep in touch.
If the online personal training program you're considering doesn't include at least all of the above for a decent price, then look elsewhere.
"How Much Does Online Personal Fitness Training Cost?"
Well, as with anything else in life, the cost can vary greatly. You'd be well advised to shop around. As mentioned above, the better quality
online personal training
should include much more than just someone emailing you and telling you to do a few exercises.
Traditional one-on-one personal training can cost anywhere from $50 to $250 per one-hour session or $1000 to $2500 per month (depending on how many sessions per week you’re training).
Good online personal training will cost you around $50 to $100 a month. On the higher end you could expect to have a complete daily nutrition and supplementation plan, 24 hour email access to your trainer, other many other benefits, such as those mentioned earlier on this page.
Given all of this, online personal training is a much better option than traditional one-on-one personal training.
Like most people, you probably realize that hiring a personal trainer is the best way to get the health and fitness results you want. Unfortunately, hiring a personal trainer has been out of reach for most people, but now with good online personal training you can really afford to do it.
It's like this - what you'll pay for online personal training is really insignificant when to compared to the alternative. You know what I mean: throwing away your hard-earned money on useless supplements, ineffective fitness training programs, high priced gym memberships, traditional one-on-one personal training, etc.
